2. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• For Lab Assistant (Science): Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (12th Standard) with at least three subjects out of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Microbiology, Bio-Technology, and Bio-Chemistry.
• For Lab Assistant (Geography): 12th Pass with Geography as an optional subject.
• For Lab Assistant (Home Science): 12th Pass with Home Science as an optional subject.
• Mandatory: Knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and Rajasthan Culture.

According to the 7th Pay Commission, the Lab Assistant post in Rajasthan comes under Pay Matrix Level L-8. During the two-year probation period, a fixed monthly stipend will be paid. After completion, the starting basic pay will be approximately ₹26,300 to ₹29,200 plus allowances (DA, HRA, etc.).
